Your Parrot Mobile account controls your phone number, billing, and personal data, so we strongly recommend turning on two-factor authentication (2FA) and knowing where to find your Support PIN.
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
When 2FA is on, signing in requires both your password and a one-time code from an authenticator app or passkey. That way, even if someone learns your password, they still can't get into your account.
How to turn on 2FA
Sign in at https://www.parrotmobile.com/app.
Open Settings > Security.
Under Multi-Factor Authentication, click Add new method.
Choose either:
Authenticator app — scan the QR code with Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password, etc.
Passkey — register Face ID, Touch ID, Windows Hello, or a hardware security key.
Save the backup codes that appear after setup. Each code can only be used once and they're your fallback if you lose access to your authenticator.
Backup codes
Backup codes let you sign in if your phone is lost, broken, or wiped. Store them somewhere safe — a password manager works well.
If you ever need new ones (for example, after using several or losing the originals):
Go to Settings > Security.
Click Regenerate Backup Codes and confirm with your password.
Save the new list. The old list stops working immediately.
Lost your authenticator and backup codes?
Email support@parrotmobile.com from the email address on your account. We'll verify your identity (including your Support PIN — see below) before disabling 2FA so you can sign back in.
Your Support PIN
Your Support PIN is a 4-digit number we use to verify it's really you when you call 611 or contact support about account changes — billing inquiries, payment retries, plan changes, or sensitive account details.
Where to find your Support PIN
Sign in at https://www.parrotmobile.com/app.
Open Settings > Security.
Find the Support PIN card and click the eye icon to reveal it.
Rotate (change) your PIN
If you think your PIN has been shared or seen by someone else:
In the same Support PIN card, click Rotate PIN.
Confirm. A new 4-digit PIN replaces the old one immediately.
The Support PIN is not the same thing as a port-out PIN. The port-out PIN is what you give a new carrier when transferring your number away — see Porting Your Number Away from Parrot Mobile.
Other Security Tips
Use a long, unique password for your Parrot Mobile account.
Review Settings > Sessions occasionally and sign out anything you don't recognize.
Never share your password, Support PIN, port-out PIN, or backup codes over chat or social media — Parrot Mobile will never ask for them outside of a verified support interaction.
If anything looks wrong on your account, email support@parrotmobile.com right away.
