Standard carrier voicemail only
This article covers the standard carrier voicemail built into your phone service. If you've activated Polly AI Voicemail, your voicemail is handled differently - see Setting Up Voicemail (Including Polly AI Voicemail) instead.
Every Parrot Mobile line comes with carrier voicemail. Below you'll find how to check messages, reset your PIN, change your greeting, and set your voicemail language.
Checking Your Voicemail
By Dialing
Long-press 1 on your phone's dial pad — this is the quickest way to reach your voicemail from your Parrot Mobile phone.
You can also dial
123and press call to connect directly to your voicemail box.From a different phone, dial +1 (805) 637-7249 — you'll be prompted for your phone number and PIN.
On iPhone
Open the Phone app.
Tap the Voicemail tab at the bottom.
Tap any message to listen, then swipe to delete or tap Save to keep it.
On Android
Open the Phone app.
Tap Voicemail (usually in the bottom menu or under the three-dot menu).
Tap a message to play it back.
Resetting Your Voicemail PIN
If you've forgotten your voicemail PIN or want to change it, you have two options:
Option 1 - Dial #793#
From your Parrot Mobile phone, dial
#793#and press call.The system will reset your voicemail PIN automatically.
You'll receive a text message with your new PIN within a few moments.
Option 2 - Contact Support
If #793# doesn't work or you prefer help, contact our support team or chat with our AI assistant. We can trigger a PIN reset on our end, and you'll receive the new PIN by text message to your line.
Changing Your Greeting
Long-press 1 or dial
123from your Parrot Mobile phone.When your voicemail answers, press 4 to access personal options (or follow the menu prompts — it may vary slightly by phone).
Select the greeting option to record a new personal greeting, or switch to the default system greeting.
Changing Your Voicemail Language
You can set your voicemail prompts and menus to English or Spanish. Contact our support team or chat with our AI assistant and we can update the language for you.
Voicemail Tips
Voicemail must be enabled - if the Voicemail toggle has been turned off on your line, callers can't leave messages. You can turn it back on in your dashboard under Settings > Features.
Keep your PIN safe - your voicemail PIN protects access to your messages. Don't share it.
Visual voicemail not loading? — make sure you have a cellular or WiFi connection, restart the Phone app, or try long-pressing 1 to access voicemail directly.
