What to Do If You Can’t Access Your Account

Modified on Sun, 19 Apr at 12:33 AM

Account access issues can be really frustrating, but luckily they are pretty easy to resolve. Below you will find basic troubleshooting steps that may help you resolve your issue prior to reaching out to support.

Email Sign-In Code Didn't Arrive

Parrot Mobile sign-in uses a one-time code emailed to the address on your account. If the code doesn't arrive:

  1. Confirm the email address. Make sure you typed the same address you used when you signed up. A typo is the most common cause.

  2. Check spam, promotions, and junk folders. Filter on parrotmobile.com.

  3. Add notifications@parrotmobile.com and support@parrotmobile.com to your contacts or allow-list so future codes don't get filtered.

  4. Wait about 2 minutes, then request a new code from the sign-in page. Codes usually arrive within seconds, but mail providers can occasionally delay delivery.

  5. Use the most recent code only. Requesting a new code invalidates any previous codes — older emails in your inbox won't work.

  6. Check if your email provider is having an outage. If other senders are also slow or undelivered, the delay isn't on our side.

  7. If you have 2FA turned on and your authenticator is unavailable, use one of your saved backup codes — see Two-Factor Authentication and Your Support PIN.

If you've tried all of the above and the code still won't arrive after 10 minutes, email support@parrotmobile.com from any address with:

  • The email address on the account

  • The approximate date and time of your last sign-in attempt

  • Whether you can receive other emails normally

We can confirm whether the code was sent and look into anything bouncing on our side.

Password Reset

If you'd rather reset your password (for example, your account also has a password set):

  1. Start with a password reset on the login page.

  2. Enter your email address.

  3. A password reset link will be sent to the email address associated with your account.

  4. If you do not see the email in your main mailbox, be sure to check your spam and promotional folders.

Logged In but Still Having Issues?

If you are experiencing problems with site responsiveness or loading issues, try these steps in order:

  1. Try a different browser. Using Chrome? Try Firefox or Safari (and vice versa).

  2. Try an incognito window or private browser.

  3. Clear your cache and cookies.

    1. Chrome

    2. Safari

    3. Firefox

  4. On the mobile app? Try accessing your account with the browser on your device instead to confirm if the issue is app-related.
