Parrot Mobile runs on a nationwide 5G and 4G LTE network. Check coverage for any address on our coverage map. If your signal is weak indoors, turn on Wi-Fi calling so calls and texts work over your internet connection.
Check coverage
Enter an address on the coverage map to see 5G and 4G LTE availability. Maps show expected outdoor coverage, so signal can be weaker inside buildings, basements, and vehicles.
5G vs 4G LTE
- 5G gives faster speeds and lower delay where it's available. Parrot Mobile supports both 5G standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) on compatible phones.
- 4G LTE covers everyday use like browsing, streaming music, and apps. Your phone switches to it automatically when 5G isn't available.
To use 5G, your phone must support it and have 5G turned on. iPhone: Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Options > Voice & Data, choose 5G Auto. Android: Settings > Network & Internet > SIMs > Preferred network type, choose 5G.
Improve weak signal
- Move near a window, to a higher floor, or outside.
- Turn Airplane Mode on for 10 seconds, then off, to reconnect to the strongest tower.
- Turn on Wi-Fi calling at home or work. See Using Wi-Fi Calling with Parrot Mobile.
- Remove thick cases or magnetic mounts that can block signal.
- Update your phone's software and, on iPhone, carrier settings (Settings > General > About).
Signal suddenly dropped?
- Everyone nearby has no signal too: it may be a local outage. It's usually fixed within a few hours. Contact support if it lasts longer.
- Only your phone: check your line is active in your account and work through Fixing "No Service" or "SOS Only" on Your Phone.
- Signal bars but nothing works: see Trouble with Calls, Texts, or Data: Step-by-Step Troubleshooting.
